Start Meditating today: 3 Important Things to Know

 If you've been curious about meditation - you've probably heard all about it - but never really knew how to start or weren't sure if you were doing it properly, then you've come to the right place :)  

I've been meditating for decades - off and on - and very consistently the past 5 or so years.  I finished my certification in Primordial Sound Meditation through the Chopra Center the first year covid hit (2020), after talking myself out of it several times but the idea popping back into my head over and over and over again - until I just gave up and signed up and went with it - figured I'd let my intuition (and the Universe) reveal to me why this was a useful thing to do, all in it's own time :) 

So - you're here, you want to start meditating - that's awesome!  It will change your life, just give it time - allow yourself to marinate in it and it'll be a source of magic in your life. 

The most important thing to know: 

Anyone can meditate!  You don't need training to jump in - you just need yourself.  Literally, you can meditate anywhere!  You can start simply by sitting comfortably, somewhere you won't be interrupted, close your eyes and just start focusing on your breathing.  10mins to start - longer as you desire, consistently over the course of  week would be incredible (even a few days a week would be great - whatever works for your schedule is sustainable for you and that's key to success!  If you're looking for a simple mantra meditation to start with, watch this short video from my youtube channel.   

The 2nd most important thing:

Meditation: will improve most everything!  I am not kidding :)  Are you looking for more focus?  More patience?  Deeper relationships with your loved ones?  What about feeling less stressed?  Interested in reducing overwhelm?  Can your mind just stop racing so much?   Can you feel more space in your life, space to breath, space to dream?  What about reducing blood pressure?  Want to get back more youthful optimism in general with your life?  Meditation can improve all these things and more - it is seriously one of our biggest super powers!  

3rd most important thing: 

Get ready to deepen your relationship with yourself - you'll hear your intuition, your gut instinct, and your Inner Wisdom louder than you ever have before.  The more aligned you are with yourself, the better your life will work.  Over time you'll get clear on your priorities, your heart's desire, you'll harness your Voice, you'll be more YOU - which this world needs desperately :) 

Once you get started you can deepen your knowledge and try different ways of meditating and experiment with this amazing tool for mindbody health!
